Donating to charity is a fundamental tenet of Freemasonry. Next to the National Lottery, the United Grand Lodge of England is the largest donor to charity in the country.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is the body with responsibility for managing the charitable activities of the Order. By clicking on the link, you will be directed to the website of the MCF, where you can learn more about the charitable activities of the Foundation.
Rivermead Lodge prides itself on supporting the tradition of donating to charity and is now fully supporting the West Kent 2026 Festival in favour of the Masonic Charitable Foundation. The success of Festivals is vital to the onging success of the MCF. As figures become available, the increasing contributions from the Lodge will be displayed here.
The total Lodge donation at January 2020 stood at £1,500.00.
